Camp activities include flying fox, archery, billy karts, campfire and lots more.

EMERGENCIES: in an emergency a leader (or parent) from your Unit will contact you. If there is an issue the Camp Administration will contact your Packs' home contact to pass on relevant information or may contact you or your emergency contact directly if necessary.

FOOD: this camp is a SELF CATER camp - so each Unit or Buddy Unit will organise & supply their own food, etc at an additional cost. Please do not send your Youth Member to camp with lollies or sweets & definitely no nut products of any kind. If your Youth Member has a special diet you must inform your Unit Leaders & note this on the E1, this includes any food allergies - listed both in dietary needs & allergies on the E1.

HEALTH: medications - prescription, over the counter, herbal must be in the original container; handed to the Unit's 1st Aider, only exceptions are asthma puffers & allergy pens which must be carried by the user. It is preferable that anyone with severe Asthma or an allergy pen have a management/treatment plan, copy attached to their E1 & a copy to the Unit 1st Aider please.

GEAR LIST: Unit Leaders will provide you with an advised gear list, this will be chosen to reflect the weather & the activity requirements of the camp. Cub Scouts should practice selecting & packing their own clothes & necessities several times prior to camp.

YOUTH HELPERS: Scouts, Venturers, or Rovers, will have their own leader supervised Camp Site, they will help to run activities under Leader supervision; they are not to work in the kitchen of any Unit. Rovers must have a WWCC number. Scouts & Venturers must be approved by their Section Leader or Group Leader. Scouts - Red Pioneer Badge, Scout Leadership Course & at least 24 months in the Troop, Venturers must have the Venturer Skills Badge & 6 months in the Unit. They may chose to cook their own meals or may eat them with the Unit, this must be determined between the Youth Helper & Unit Leader.

CAMP SITES: these will be set prior to the commencement of the camp. Adults & Cubs do not share tents; the exception is where a Cub has been identified with a special need prior to Camp, then that Cub & Parent or Carer will have their own tent space.

COST: Cubs $55, all others $37. Additional costs are payable to your Group to cover food, etc.

WITHDRAWALS: a fee of $2.50 per application to all, even where a substitution has been made. Refunds based on camp commencement date: 28 days notice 75% refund; 27 days - 14 days 50% refund; 13 days or less 0% refund. In the event of illness or other unexpected incident a partial refund of the base costs may be approved by camp administration upon application via the Group; refund of Group added costs must be applied for via the Scout Group and not via the camp.

Feeling safe is your right - a message for everyone attending CubBOOM, youth & adults alike have the right to feel safe & be protected from abuse. No-one is allowed to threaten you, hurt you or touch you in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, unsafe or afraid.
