Brief Summary:
We will be holding a Canoe Rescue Skills Day at Shaw's Bay. This is a opportunity for you to update your Skills and learn new ones as well.

Additional Information
his event will focus on canoe rescue skills, as part of the requirements for maintaining Level 2 Canoe qualifications.
Each year, Level 2 canoe qualified people need to complete 6 hours of rescue skills.
Level 1 and non-qualified leaders are also welcome to attend.
You will need to provide the following:
1. PFD Level 50
2. Canoe if you have one (if you don't please let me know ASAP to arrange canoe hire).
3. Sun protection, including a hat.
4. Enclosed footwear.
5. Lunch and food for the day.
6. Pen and your current log for Canoeing.
7. Change of Clothes as you will be getting wet.
All PFD's and Canoes will need to be approved by the Activity Organiser before they can be used. If you're uncertain that your equipment satiates current Scout standards please communicate early so we can ensure we have sufficient suitable equipment on the day.
