Scout and Venturer Abseil Weekend

This weekend is open to all Scouts and Venturers who wish to particpate in Abseiling and Rock Climbing. There is a maximum of 22 Scout and Venturers to be registered so first in for a great weekend.

We will meet at Camp Eagle Eye on the Friday Night where you will be inducted for the weekend. There will be a saftey breifing and you will be fitted for a harness and helmet for the weekend.

You will participate in several different Abseil and climbing during the weekend over different types of areas.

The weekend is fully catered and you will be camping.

You will be driven each day to the abseil site.

Please bring the following,

1. Clothing and good shoes for Rock Climbing and abseiling

2. Sunscreen and Hat

3. Backback and water bottle. You will need to carry all you stuff for the day to the abseil site it is approx 10 minute walk from the cars. Make sure you have enough Water bottle to carry a couple of litres with you for the day. Also a lunch box to put your food into.

4. Tent, Sleeping Gear and Toiletry stuff

5. Your goals for the weekend. You will be signed off on what you acheive for the weekend.

For all Leaders who wish to come and help out, you are more than welcome to come. You will help supervise as well as get some Abseiling in if you wish.
