THIS CAMP IS A PREREQUISIT TO GO TO STATE CUBOREE JANUARY 2020. THIS IS A FULLY CATERED CAMP.
HEALTH: medications - prescription, over the counter, herbal, etc. must be in the original container; handed to the Unit Health and Welfare Leader, only exceptions are Asthma Puffers & Allergy Pens which MUST be carried by the user. It is EXPECTED that anyone with severe Asthma or an Allergy pen to have a management/treatment plan, copy attached to their E1 & a copy to the Unit Health & Welfare Leader please.
GEAR LIST: Unit Coordinators will provide you with an advised gear list, this will be chosen to reflect the weather & the activity requirements of the camp i.e. wet/water activities will require a set of clothes + enclosed shoes that can get wet & a bag to store them in + an extra towel. Cub Scouts should practice selecting & packing their own clothes & necessities several times prior to camp.
ALL GEAR WILL BE CARRIED FROM ADMIN (THE TRAINING CENTRE) TO THE APPROPRIATE CAMP SITE by all attending camp. This reflects what will happen at Cuboree where you may need to carry your gear up to 200M to your campsite.
All Activity People & JSL's will have their own campsite & for PreCuboree ONLY will dine with an assigned Unit, at Cuboree they will have their own camp site & dining facility.
CATERING: this is a catered camp from Supper Friday night until Lunch Monday, & will follow the menu plan for Cuboree to enable the cooking crews to work out scheduling. All E1s MUST identify food allergies, religious food restrictions. a 'food preference' not a health/medical condition. Do not send lollies or nuts with your youth member - Cub, Scout or Venturer.
If there are any questions first contact your Unit Coordinator. Arrival for set up from camp 12pm (Leaders only) Cubs arrival from 5.00pm please have dinner on your way.
MEETING: Parents please arrive for pick up Monday by 11.00am to help pack up camp and for a brief meeting.

COST: $145 Cub Scouts. ALL Others $97 - cost includes all activities, offsite activity, Region hat and food. A Regions Shirt will be available for purchase at an extra cost. (minimum number required for ordering)
